Overview: Bethesda Country Club's 18-hole parkland course occupies a traditional suburban setting in Bethesda, Maryland. Mature hardwoods, rolling ground and a traditional suburban setting frame a layout associated with Fred Findlay and later Arthur Hills work.
History: The club acquired its current site in 1947, opened nine holes first and completed the second nine in 1949. Arthur Hills led a major renovation in 1992, so the course's history includes both the postwar original and a later redesign.
