Overview: Berkeley Hall’s North Course is a private Tom Fazio layout in Bluffton’s Lowcountry. The 2001 course uses sandy ground, pines, wetlands, and open corridors to create a spacious coastal-South Carolina experience in which the landscape remains visible between the holes.
History: The North Course was the first of Berkeley Hall’s two championship layouts and opened in 2001. Fazio’s design established the club’s golf identity before the later South Course added a second expression of the same Lowcountry setting.
Did You Know? Berkeley Hall’s North Course is often described as a rare example of Lowcountry golf that retains a natural, uncrowded feeling. Its setting is shaped as much by pine and wetland edges as by the formal features around the greens.
