Belleair Country Club (West)

Overview: Belleair Country Club’s West Course is a private coastal Florida layout with mature trees, broad fairways and a traditional resort-era setting. The course’s current character reflects both its early Donald Ross roots and a later restoration that brought back strategic ideas from the historic plans.

History: The West Course grew to eighteen holes in 1909 and was later associated with Donald Ross work in the early twentieth century. Fry/Straka rebuilt and restored the course in 2022, using Ross drawings and the original property as guides for the modern routing.
