Belleair Country Club (East)

Overview: Belleair Country Club’s East Course is a private parkland layout on Florida’s Gulf Coast, surrounded by the long history of the Belleair resort community. Donald J. Ross shaped the club’s principal golf identity, while the East Course has also received later renovation work. Published course data lists the East routing at par 71 and approximately 6,265 yards.

History: Belleair’s golf story began with a six-hole course in 1897, grew to nine holes in 1899 and reached 18 holes in 1909, when Ross was commissioned to develop the course. A 1924 Ross renovation deepened that legacy; the club later selected Fry/Straka for a comprehensive East Course renovation, so the historic origin and current routing are best understood as separate layers.
