History: Bear Creek opened in 1982 and is credited to Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus Design describes it as part of a private golf community, while the club records a 2015 ownership change and 2016 clubhouse renovation. Those updates did not replace the original course.

Did You Know? At 22640 Bear Creek Drive North, the holes are separated by natural land and the community landscape rather than a resort road network. The Nicklaus design remains the central architectural reference.
