Overview: Bay Point's Nicklaus Course is a par-72 layout in Panama City Beach, with the back tees reaching a little over 7,000 yards. The course works through St. Andrews Bay, marsh edges, lagoons, and coastal vegetation, giving water and shoreline exposure a larger role than on an inland Florida course.
History: The course originally opened in 1986 as the Lagoon Legends course, designed by Bruce Devlin. Nicklaus Design later renovated the layout in 2005, creating the current Nicklaus Course identity while retaining the property's bay and marsh setting.
Did You Know? The five tee sets run from roughly 4,100 yards to about 7,100 yards. That range is especially useful at a coastal resort course where wind can change the effective length of several holes.
