Overview: Located near Milan, Italy, Barlassina Country Club is a highly historic 18-hole private parkland course. Winding across a highly undulating, wooded estate, the layout features steep elevation changes, incredibly tight, tree-lined fairways bordered by massive oaks, and small, severely contoured putting surfaces. The course demands pinpoint accuracy off the tee and highly disciplined approach play to navigate the severe side-hill lies.
History: Founded in 1956 by British expatriates, the club is one of the premier classic private clubs in the Lombardy region. The course has been carefully preserved and respectfully updated over the decades, retaining its classic, penal strategic values and intimate routing while serving as a traditional social center.
Did You Know? The club operates with an incredibly strict, traditional ethos. It is a highly exclusive, traditional facility that serves as the elite social and sporting center for the incredibly affluent civic and business leaders of the Milan metropolitan area.
