Overview: Banyan Creek Golf Club is a private Palm City course built around the former Crane Creek layout. The course is set apart from many Florida residential tracks by its natural landscape and the large banyan tree overlooking the first and eighteenth greens. Its present identity combines the older routing with a 2016 revitalization project.
History: The course debuted in the 1970s as Crane Creek and was designed by Arthur Young and Charles Ankrom. It ceased operations in the early 2000s, then returned to active development after a 2012 acquisition. A comprehensive project began in 2016, adding tees and new features while preserving the original layout.
Did You Know? The course was renamed Banyan Creek because a single large banyan tree overlooks both the first and eighteenth greens. That tree is not just a landscape detail: it is the physical landmark that links the opening and closing holes.
