Overview: In Palm Beach Gardens, BallenIsles North offers private 18-hole golf in Palm Beach Gardens that winds among lakes and nature preserves. Joe Lee designed the original routing, and the club’s current scorecard lists a par-72 course measuring 6,865 yards from the black tees. Trees and water mark the edges of generous fairways and reward controlled placement.
History: The first North nine dates to 1964, and Joe Lee added its back nine in 1969. Kipp Schulties led an extensive redesign that reopened the course in 2013, integrating the former short-course land and updating the playing surfaces and strategy.
Did You Know? North’s 18-hole identity was built in two stages: the first nine dates to 1964, but the full route did not exist until Lee added the back nine five years later. That makes its opening history different from the East and South courses at the same club.
