Overview: Ballamor Golf Club is a public-access course near Atlantic City in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Ault, Clark & Associates shaped the 350-acre property into a wooded parkland course with broad fairways, large greens and subtle modern strategy.
History: Ballamor opened in 2001 as a private facility before later becoming a daily-fee public course. The change in ownership and access did not erase the original design, which still feels more secluded than a typical resort course.
Did You Know? The course was built around an old South Jersey landscape of woods and rolling ground rather than a flat coastal grid. That natural setting is a major part of why Ballamor feels separated from the nearby resort strip.
