Bærum Golfklubb

Overview: Located in Lommedalen, just outside Oslo, Norway, Bærum Golfklubb is a highly scenic 18-hole woodland course. Carved through dense pine and spruce forests, the layout features dramatic elevation changes, tight, heavily restricted fairways, and small, well-defended putting surfaces. The course is a severe test of target golf, requiring players to execute precise shots over deep ravines and rocky chasms to find the secluded greens.

History: Founded in the late 1980s, the course was built to establish a premier competitive venue in the affluent Bærum municipality. The construction required extensive dynamite blasting to route the holes through the steep, rugged Norwegian terrain, creating one of the most physically demanding and visually intimidating layouts in the Oslo region.

Did You Know? Because the course is built in a steep river valley, players can enjoy breathtaking, panoramic views of the Lomma river and the surrounding majestic mountain peaks from several highly elevated tee boxes.
