Overview: Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas, is an exceptionally prestigious private championship course designed by the legendary architect Pete Dye. Winding along the shores of Lake Austin, the course features Dye's signature bulkheads, strategic sand bunkers, and dramatic elevation changes.
History: Founded in 1899, the club is one of the oldest in the state, moving to its current lakeside location in 1984. Pete Dye designed the modern layout to feature two distinct nines: a rugged, canyon-style front nine and a lowcountry-style back nine along the lake. The course hosted the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play from 2016 to 2023.
