Austerlitz Golf Resort

Overview: Austerlitz Golf Resort is a unique and historically significant championship venue located near the site of the famous 1805 Battle of the Three Emperors. Designed by Austrian architect Hans-Georg Erhardt and opened in 2004, the course is a technical parkland layout with distinct "links-style" characteristics due to its open, wind-exposed terrain. Featuring approximately 120 deep bunkers and 3 hectares of artificial water hazards, it is a rigorous test of strategy and shot-making located just outside the town of Slavkov u Brna.

History: The resort was developed to provide a modern sporting destination in a region steeped in Napoleonic history. The championship course was added as the centerpiece of a larger project that includes a public academy course situated directly within the local chateau’s parkland.
