Åsundsholm Golf & Country Club

Overview: Åsundsholm Golf & Country Club is a parkland course beside Åsunden in western Sweden, with open views, woodland edges and the historic manor environment shaping the round. The course is designed around broad playing corridors and modern greens, giving golfers room to choose a line while still requiring disciplined approach shots. Water and the lake landscape appear as part of the setting rather than as constant hazards, and the changing views help the course feel larger than the scorecard suggests. Its par-72 layout offers a balanced round for both experienced players and visitors discovering the property.

History: Planning began in 2003, the first 12 holes were inaugurated in 2007, and the final six holes opened in 2013 to complete the 18-hole course. Henrik Wissinger is credited with the design.
