Overview: Aspen Lakes Golf Course is an eighteen-hole public course in Sisters, Oregon, set among Central Oregon’s high-desert trees and mountain views. William Overdorf designed the layout, which plays to par 72 and 7,302 yards from the black tees.
History: The first nine dates to 1996 and the second nine followed in 2000, completing the current eighteen-hole course. The family-owned facility has also earned Audubon Signature recognition for its environmental approach.
Did You Know? The red cinder bunker sand comes from the Cyrus family’s property. Those distinctive red bunkers are therefore a local material choice as well as Aspen Lakes’ most recognizable visual feature.
