Overview: Located in the rolling hills of Lombardy near Lake Garda, Italy, the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus II course at Arzaga Golf Club is an open, American-style parkland layout. Set within a 144-hectare historic estate, the course features wide fairways, large expansive waste bunkers, and undulating green complexes. Unlike traditional tight Italian layouts, this course offers generous landing areas off the tee while demanding precise iron play to navigate the strategically placed water hazards and deep green-side bunkering.

History: Opened in 1998, the course was designed by Jack Nicklaus II to establish a premier luxury golf destination in northern Italy. The layout was carefully integrated into the historic agricultural landscape of the estate, preserving ancient oak trees and natural waterways. A complementary 9-hole course designed by Gary Player was added later, creating a comprehensive 27-hole championship facility that has hosted multiple Italian PGA events.

Did You Know? The centerpiece of the resort is the magnificent Palazzo Arzaga, a meticulously restored 15th-century mansion. Players can enjoy views of this historic building, which features classic Renaissance frescoes and courtyards, as they approach the final greens of the course.
