Overview: Located near Stockholm Arlanda Airport in Sweden, the Masters Banan (Masters Course) at Arlandastad Golf is a modern 18-hole championship course. Set on an open, highly undulating landscape, the layout features wide fairways, massive, interconnected lakes, and large, severely contoured green complexes. The course is heavily exposed to wind, demanding powerful driving and precise target-style approach shots to carry the extensive water hazards.
History: Opened in the 1990s, the course was built specifically to host major international professional events. The layout is widely known for hosting the Scandinavian Masters on the European Tour in 2007 and 2008, challenging the world's best players with its length and severe, penal hazards.
Did You Know? The facility is built directly adjacent to Sweden's largest international airport. Players frequently experience massive commercial airliners flying low directly overhead on their final approach, providing a highly unique, dramatic backdrop.
