Argentario Golf Club

Overview: Situated on the Monte Argentario peninsula in Tuscany, Italy, Argentario Golf Club is an 18-hole coastal parkland course designed by David Mezzacane and Baldovino Dassù. The layout winds through cork-oak woods and historic olive groves, featuring significant elevation changes, narrow fairways, and small greens protected by deep bunkers. The course is highly exposed to sea breezes from the Orbetello Lagoon and the Tyrrhenian Sea, demanding precise ball control and strategic shot placement.

History: Opened in 2006 as the centerpiece of a prestigious luxury wellness resort, the course was built to establish a premier competitive destination in southern Tuscany. The layout was carefully designed to respect the protected Mediterranean landscape, earning recognition as the only PGA National Italy golf course. The venue has hosted several major professional events on the European Tour and Challenge Tour.

Did You Know? The course is built within a designated bio-refuge, meaning no chemical pesticides are used. Native Mediterranean bird species, wild hares, and fallow deer roam freely along the organic fairways, providing a highly natural and ecologically sustainable playing environment.
