History: Opened in 2016 as part of a major luxury resort development in Andermatt, the course was engineered to meet strict international tournament standards while respecting the sensitive alpine ecology. Did You Know? Due to its elevation of nearly 1,450 meters (4,750 feet) above sea level, the thin mountain air allows golf balls to travel significantly further than at sea level. Players must carefully adjust their yardage calculations to avoid overshooting the greens.
