Overview: Andalusia Country Club is a private desert course in La Quinta, framed by the Santa Rosa Mountains and the open floor of the Coachella Valley. Rees Jones designed the 18-hole championship routing, which plays to par 72 and extends to 7,521 yards from the longest tees. Lakes, fairway contours and mountain sightlines give the course a distinctly desert-resort visual character.
History: The course opened in 2005 as the centerpiece of the Andalusia community. Jones’s design uses the desert setting as a strategic framework, with broad views and elevation contrasts helping separate the course from more uniformly flat valley layouts.
Did You Know? From the back tees, Andalusia is longer than 7,500 yards, making it one of the more substantial private desert-course tests in the La Quinta area.
