Amelia Island Plantation (Oak Marsh)

Overview: Oak Marsh is an 18-hole Pete Dye design shaped around salt-marsh creeks, heritage oaks, and narrow fairways. The course plays to par 72 and 6,471 yards in the current resort golf brochure, with small greens and water edges making placement important.

History: Oak Marsh was built in 1972 and underwent a major renovation by Beau Welling before its 2025 reopening. The current access model is for Amelia Island resort guests and club members, not unrestricted public play.

Did You Know? The name is a useful description of the routing: mature oak corridors and marsh creeks appear together throughout the course. That mix gives Oak Marsh a different visual and strategic identity from the neighboring Long Point course.
