History: A.W. Tillinghast designed the course in 1928, when it was known as Aldecress. The club’s history records a 1960 change to the Alpine name and a later restoration program, while Ron Forse is associated with the modern design work.

Did You Know? Alpine’s restoration was intended to recover the character of Tillinghast’s original work rather than replace it. The result is a course where modern maintenance and restoration sit alongside a 1928 routing.
