Alamance Country Club

Overview: Alamance Country Club is a private Donald Ross course in Burlington. The layout uses traditional Piedmont parkland with mature trees and strategic green work, and the club's location makes it a distinct central North Carolina identity rather than a Sandhills resort routing.

History: The club formed in 1946 around a Ross course. Robert Cupp renovated the layout in 1999 using Ross plans, and a 2020 project later updated greens and bunkers. Those projects are best understood as improvements to a Ross foundation, not as a new course opening.
