Overview: Patawalonga is the 18-hole public course at Adelaide's West Beach Parks precinct, now presented under the The Pat GC brand. Its blue scorecard measures 5,895 yards at par 72. The layout is built for regular play rather than resort theatrics, with kikuyu fairways, large bentgrass greens, red-sand bunkers and a mix of holes that reward both sensible positioning and confident approach play. Its location near Adelaide makes it a practical round for visitors staying in the city or around the coast.

History: The course belongs to the long-running Adelaide Shores golf precinct. Golf Australia records a major redesign by Neil Crafter and Paul Mogford, including work to fairways, bunkers, greens and tees. That work helped turn Patawalonga into the stronger 18-hole offering in a precinct that has changed over time, while the present operator continues to offer public tee times and a welcoming golf facility.

Did You Know? The greens average roughly 750 square metres according to Golf Australia, which gives the course plenty of visible target but does not make every approach easy. The first hole is listed by the club as the hardest, a long par four that can play even longer into the prevailing wind.
