Overview: Aas Gård Golfpark sits in Hakadal, Nittedal municipality, as part of the historic Aas estate bordering the Romeriksåsene hills. The valley location provides optimal sunlight and a backdrop of forest-covered hills, giving the parkland course a sheltered, scenic feel. Built to USGA standards adapted for Scandinavian conditions, the course emphasizes high-quality greens maintained year after year. The design avoids blind shots for most players, with only a few exceptions for long hitters, keeping the layout fair and visible. The first nine holes (now the back nine) opened on July 30, 2005, and the current front nine was completed in late August 2006, creating the full 18-hole routing in just over a year.
Did You Know? The course features five par-3s, eight par-4s, and five par-5s, a distribution that keeps the par-72 routing varied. Six tee locations, labeled 62, 57, 53, 50, 47, and 28, offer distinct challenges without specifying the unit, likely meters. Designers deliberately avoided blind shots, with only rare exceptions for long hitters, ensuring every green is visible from the fairway. Hole-in-one records include strikes on Hole 5 (June 29), Hole 7 (June 12 and March 3), and Hole 14 (June 1).
