Overview: Located in Højbjerg, just south of Aarhus, Denmark, Aarhus Golf Club is a historic 18-hole parkland course. Winding across a highly undulating, wooded estate, the layout features steep elevation changes, tight, tree-lined fairways bordered by massive oaks, and small, severely contoured putting surfaces. The course demands pinpoint accuracy off the tee and highly disciplined approach play to navigate the severe side-hill lies.
History: Founded in 1931, Aarhus is one of the oldest and most prestigious golf clubs in Denmark. The course has been carefully preserved and respectfully updated over the decades, retaining its classic strategic values and intimate routing while hosting numerous Danish national championships.
Did You Know? The course is built entirely within the Moesgård Forest, a massive, highly protected nature reserve. The dense, ancient woodlands ensure that the playing corridors remain completely isolated and free from any modern residential development.
