360 Country Club

Overview: 360 Country Club is an 18-hole public course in Yeoju, Gyeonggi, set into a wooded mountainside where streams, lakes and cascading waterfalls form part of the layout rather than decoration. Course records list par 72 and 7,036 yards from the back tees. The routing is built around changing sightlines: wooded holes open toward water, while the signature lake gathers the closing stages of the front and back nines. The 9th and 18th return to the same lake and waterfall setting, giving the round a clear visual climax. Brian Costello and JMP Golf Design Group are credited with the design. It is a high-end public course with a resort-style presentation, but its strongest character comes from the relationship between forested slopes and moving water.

History: The course was developed as a new public golf destination near Yeoju rather than as an old club with a long private history. JMP dates the project to 2011, while the American Society of Golf Course Architects reported its grand opening on May 14, 2012. The safest account is that the project was operating around 2011 and reached its formal opening milestone in 2012. The course was designed by Brian Costello with JMP Golf Design Group, whose work emphasized the natural drainage lines, water features and forested terrain already present on the site.

Did You Know? The 9th and 18th holes are deliberately tied together by the same signature lake and waterfall landscape. That shared setting makes the two closing holes feel like bookends to the round and is one of the clearest identifying features in the designer's description of 360 Country Club.
